Harp & a Monkey (End of Year Matinee Show)
Are you one of those people who dreads Christmas shopping and keeps putting it off? Well have no fear, as Manchester’s favourite modern folk song and storytelling trio are here to help you out – by performing one of their popular Saturday afternoon matinees. Simply arrive early in the city centre, get those gifts out of the way and then stroll up to the Band on the Wall to settle in and reward yourself with a couple of hours of award-winning songs and stories.
For those of you who haven’t been to a Harp and a Monkey matinee before, you can expect captivating and enchanting tales accompanied by a rich array of instruments (harp, banjo, guitar, glockenspiel, accordion and more). It will make you feel like you’re sharing a warm winter moment around the fireside with old friends. Whether you’re an aficionado of folk music or just looking for an afternoon of laughter, great music, and heartfelt stories, this show will leave you uplifted and inspired. Suitable for all ages, book early to avoid missing out!
