Concrete Club
Concrete Club formed at the end of 2022 and haven’t slowed down since. They've completed a UK tour, headlined multiple sold-out shows, featured on BBC Introducing Manchester, and taken the stage at Manchester’s iconic Albert Hall and Gorilla, refining a live show that’s as energetic as it is unapologetically loud. Concrete Club blend elements of indie rock, pop, and funk, pushing beyond Manchester’s traditional sound while still tipping their hats to the city’s musical legacy. Their songs reimagine everyday life - gritty, hopeful, and full of fire, with lyrics that chase meaning in chaos and dreams through the mundane.
The Bad Wires
The Bad Wires are an upcoming 3 piece rock and roll band from Manchester, England. Their dirty, bluesy, guitar based tunes are heavily reminiscent of artists such as Jack White, The Black Keys and Queens of the Stone Age. While managing to stay quintessentially British in their lyrical and vocal attack, there’s also a cinematic edge to their numbers that they credit to artist like Lana Del Rey and Arctic Monkeys, making The Bad Wires a band to definitely look out for in the future.
Mae Grace
Mae Grace is a female-fronted post-punk five-piece based in Manchester. Their live performance consists of chaotic male instrumentalists surrounding a composed front woman, creating an empowering progressive experience. Drawing inspiration from bands like Fontaines D.C, Just Mustard and NewDad, Mae Grace fuse spoken word with haunting melodies and driving rhythms to deliver raw, emotionally charged soundscapes. Mae Grace have played renowned venues such as The Deaf Institute and are set to perform at Gathering Sounds Festival this summer alongside acts like Grandmas House and L’objectif. Their debut release is set for October, coinciding with their first headline show.
