The Dave Weckl / Tom Kennedy Project
The Dave Weckl / Tom Kennedy project is an all-star fusion experience featuring three icons of jazz and one of the hottest young keyboardists around. Four stars of world jazz who grant a large role to improvisational interplay, to often pressing dynamics and rhythms, alternating with melodic ideas, light, airy, soft sounds in which one senses the stubbornness in the search not for the effect but rather for the necessity of single note. The result of the Dave Weckl -Tom Kennedy Project It’s an high energy jazz/fusion group which will drive us in a wonderful musical journey through latin, afro and modern jazz rhythm, it’s music that becomes beautiful moment by moment. After the successful tours of 2021,2022, 2023 and 2024 when they performed the music from the album “Stories”, the Project will be back in Europe next Fall to present the latest Tom Kennedy’s album “New Start”, as well produced and mixed by Dave Weckl.
