KAU & blu/quartet – Unknown Waveforms Release Tour
Born in Brussels, KAU is an instrumental project centered around a trio of musicians: André Breidlid (drums), Matteo Genovese (bass), and Jan Janzen (synths). With a strong pan-European identity, their music reflects the city that saw them grow up: uninhibited and richly diverse.
Conservatory-trained, they create free music blending synths, captivating melodies, electronic groove & beatmaking. KAU join us on their UK tour in support of their new album ‘Unknown Waveforms’ emphasizes vibe over restrictive format, & features for the first time a string quartet from Cologne, Germany.
Joining them on stage is Cologne-based blu/quartet – The collaboration adds a string quartet to the band’s setup, introducing acoustic elements and new arrangements that reshape the music while staying close to KAU’s core sound.
