Tanner and the Tones – Big Band Jazz
Tanner and the tones are a 19 piece powerhouse jazz big band from Manchester that brings the timeless energy of jazz to life. Featuring a line up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, keys and strings they push the boundaries of the big band sound with modern arrangements and tight harmonies.
Under the direction of Joe Tanner, Tanner and the Tones showcases not only classic real book jazz standards but also the songs from Portal 2 and Mario as well as Glen miller and Pixar movies (and maybe even a few rock covers), Tanner and the Tones promise to deliver an unforgettable night of big band brass action.
