HIGHWAYVES (HWYVES) are an artistic collective that have crafted a sound that races from spacious to suffocating, combining the dark aggression of grunge with dreamlike washes reminiscent of shoe-gaze. Each piece is punctuated with intimate, poetic lyrics that are as personal as they are universal. HIGHWAYVES are unashamedly earnest, laying bare their deepest emotions for all to join in collective catharsis.
Infrared had its inception onto the Manchester Grassroots music scene in late 2023, with flowing and intertwining sounds of shoegaze, indie rock and heavy rock. Many of their songs contain sprinkles of inspiration from bands such as Wolf Alice, incorporating glossy female lead vocals over fuzzy and feel good guitar tones. Infrared also have other allusions to bands such as My Bloody Valentine, for their stylistic and hybrid forms of songwriting.
The Memos are a Liverpool-based indie rock band blending raw Northern grit with a melodic transatlantic twist. Fronted by Cumbrian singer-songwriter Aaron Spencer, their music channels real-life emotion through heartfelt lyrics, anthemic choruses, and sharp guitar work. With Zak Langford Do on lead guitar hailing from San Francisco and Gary Robertson on bass and backing vocals bringing Scouse heart and soul , they deliver emotionally honest indie rock with vibrancy and flair.
